Dear Valued Cake Customers,
As an artisan bakery, we do our best to duplicate cakes from pictures that you may bring in or you may find in our portfolios. However, please understand that each cake will be unique and not exactly like the picture you may see. Creating custom cakes does take time, and as you know time is money, therefore we must charge accordingly for each specific cake. We reserve the right to not match colors exactly, however, we will do our best to serve your needs.
Please be aware that different fillings will yield different heights to cakes. For instance a cake filled with jam will not be as tall as one filled with mousse. This is why some cakes are taller than others. Also note that there is an extra charge for fresh fruit fillings. Rice paper print outs are a great way to duplicate a picture or pattern exactly. We are able to print out your picture on editable rice paper, which is then transferred onto your cake. Rice paper prints start at $5.
Our buttercream contains real butter and cream. We do not use any shortening in our products. We also use IMITATION almond extract in our buttercream. This will have no effect on those of you who have allergies to nuts; we will leave out the almond flavor upon request. We also would like you to know that colored buttercream may produce the same color in the mouths of those who eat it. (e.g. dark blue butter cream = dark blue mouth and tongue!) Lightly colored buttercream will generally not have this effect. Colored fondant does not have this effect.
